Special Construction For You
Making one of a kind projects is my goal in life. I grew up in a small town in Oregon, and the last thing I ever wanted was to be wearing the same outfit as someone else. Now that I live in Eugene Oregon I have the same feeling of wanting to be uniquely me! In turn I look forward to making special orders of my go-to crafts to insure the rest of the community is just as unique. Below I have included some of my personal projects as well as projects I have completed for others.
Here I went pocket crazy on this Carry All. What can I say I need pockets when it comes to keeping this lady organized. I have been known to use this as my go to purse, over night bag, and a travel bag.
My duvet cover! I used a pieced top of flannel, crisp cottons and flannel backed satin, 100% cotton backing, red satin blanket binding and snap tape to keep the duvet closed. By leaving small openings at each corner it is easy to adjust the inside blankets.
Cozy Blankets for all ages. This one I made for my niece so she could kick it on the floor. The circles are sewn on in two different ways making amazing texture. Mom and I finished the binding together.
Aprons for all sizes. I made matching aprons for mom and son. They cook so much why not have awesome aprons. They are made of a crisp cotton to allow for easy wear and wash. The straps are fully adjustable for multi-size fitting. The apron wraps around to cover the backside of your legs, also known as the wipe area.
Here you can see the square squared dress that I made for my client. She loves the flow and ease of the dresses. They allow her to adjust size depending on the day. I used a polyester fabric that is slightly sheer to give flow and movement to the dress.
I love to make tote bags that are very eye catching yet still functional. This one is great for clothes, books, groceries or anything else my heart desires. The yellow lining adds extra strength to the 100% cotton fabric.
Below is a slide show of the pillowcases I have made.
